Making My Home A Beautiful Place as an Artist and Mom

Making My Home A Beautiful Place as an Artist and Mom

Making My Home Beautiful as an Artist and Mom

As women of faith, we often seek beauty in the everyday moments, creating spaces that reflect the peace and joy we find in our spiritual journey. As an artist and a mother, my home is a canvas where I blend creativity and love to make it a sanctuary for my family.

One of the simple joys I find in making my home beautiful is by adorning the walls with prints of my own art. Seeing my creations hanging around the house not only adds a touch of uniqueness but also serves as a reminder that creativity flows through me, blessing those who dwell here. It's a beautiful way to combat the doubts of impostor syndrome and embrace the artist within me.

Another recent addition to our home that brings both practicality and sentimental value is a charming giant ruler to measure the growth of our children. Unlike marking on the walls, which we would leave behind with each move, this ruler is a portable keepsake that can journey with us to every new home. It was a precious gift from my dear sister-in-law and brother, a tangible symbol of family love and the passing of time.

While I don't have a link to the exact ruler that hangs in our home, I stumbled upon a similar one on that captures the essence of this heartfelt tradition that you can find here. (*I may earn commissions through this affiliate link, but it is at no cost to you to use)

Returning to the heart of my artistry, one of the paintings gracing our walls is titled "The Pasture He Provides." This piece not only enhances the aesthetics of our home but also speaks to my faith, reminding me of God's abundant blessings and provision. (The Pasture He Provides

In our pursuit of making our homes beautiful, we weave together threads of art, love, faith, and family, creating spaces that resonate with warmth and inspiration. May your own home reflect the beauty of your soul and the grace that surrounds you.

Warmly,
Jackie
